| Mossyard Caravan Park
Mossyard, four miles west of Gatehouse of Fleet, is a working farm situated in a magnificent coastal location with the beautiful backdrop of the Galloway Hills. A VisitScotland 4 Star caravan and camping park, with self catering cottages and luxury lodges, Mossyard commands stunning views over Fleet Bay and the Murray Isles, and has everything you need for a relaxing break.
The Caravan and Camping Park is open from 1st April to 31st October (except when Easter falls earlier) and can accommodate touring caravans, tents and motor homes. The grass pitches are situated around the perimeter of two large grassy areas with easy access to safe and sandy beaches, which are perfect for swimming and sailing.
The self catering lodge and cottages are open all year. Craignesket Cottage and Edenville Cottage are identical detached properties and have been renovated to a very high standard ensuring they have all the comforts you need. They both have large private gardens with amazing views over Fleet Bay. Threaby Cottage, a semi detached property, is a restored farm workers cottage. Traditionally built in stone at the end of the 19th Century, it still retains all the character and charm of that period. The Buoys, a Pinelog lodge, occupies a magnificent headland location overlooking the white sandy beaches for which Mossyard is well known.
Mossyard has been the home of the McConchie Family for four generations and offers visitors the hospitality of a family run business with the attractions of a working farm. Whether you are interested in outdoor pursuits, local attractions or simply want to enjoy the peace of our countryside and the beauty of our coastline, Mossyard is the place for your perfect holiday.
