Gatehouse of Fleet can offer a wide selection of accommodation ranging from hotels such as the Cally Palace Hotel on the edge of the town, with its own sports club and 18 hole golf course, to the Murray Arms, Bank of Fleet and Ship Inn hotels in the town itself.  The Bobbin Guesthouse and Fleet Farmhouse, both in the town provide B and B, and there are many holiday cottages in and around the town.  There are several caravan parks along the coast outside the town, and one in the town.  The hotels all provide meals and in addition, the Masonic Arms in Ann Street, the Riverside Café at the Mill on the Fleet, and Galloway Country Style provide meals and refreshments.

Dundrennan Abbey

Cambret Moor
A stone circle consisting of a central stone and circle of 28 smaller boulders.  The interior of the circle was strewn with smaller cobble-sized stones. More.
 


Cairnholy
There are two burial sites at Cairnholy dating from Neolithic times, both very well preserved and commanding fine views over Wigtown Bay.  Cairnholy I is notable for the impressive facade, in front of which, archaeological evidence suggests, ceremonies took place.  More.  


Fantastic Beaches
The tide goes out a long way across the Fleet Bay opening up huge expanses of sandy beach. Sandy bays are to be found at Cardoness, Mossyard, Sandgreen and Carrick.  More.
