Have your say on the future of Cairnsmore National Nature Reserve

Cairnsmore National Nature Reserve (NNR) is a nationally important upland site at the core of  the Galloway and Southern Ayrshire biosphere.

Scottsih Natural Heritage are looking for ideas and comments on the future of the reserve.  In particular they would welcome ideas on how they can  improve visitors' experience of the reserve and how they can engage better with the local communities.

SNH are keen to become more involved with local groups and in recent weeks the Fleet Valley National Scenic Area volunteers have been working with reserve warden Francois Chazel at the site.

SNH will be holding a drop in event at Gatehouse Community Centre from 17.00 to 20.00 on Friday 8th April to gather local views and ideas.  Why not come along and have your say on the future of the reserve.
